The GLAMA is proud to have successfully established a thriving madrassa to serve children in the Wesbank area. These classes provide essential Islamic education to young learners, with many of the children coming from nearby communities, such as Delft and Kuils River.
The madrassa classes are about more than just Islamic education, they serve as safe and nurturing spaces where children can grow spiritually, morally, and socially. The curriculum focuses on teaching the Quran, Islamic values, and practical life lessons, promoting a sense of community and belonging among the students.
Looking to the future, we are committed to expanding this initiative to reach children in other underserved areas. The goal is to ensure that every child who wishes to learn and strengthen their faith has access to quality Islamic education, regardless of their circumstances.
